Food is delicious all around. The gumbo is typically a bit salty. Specials after 5pm during the week. Often noisy--nothing inside absorbs sound.

This place doesn't look like much, but the BBQ is fantastic!
Black Hog on market street is much better. I much prefer a waiter or waitress to a long line.
Try the Mac n cheese! It's my go to comfort food!!!

Monday nights are 2 pork sandwiches and 2 sides for $10. Awesome deal.
When it comes to sides it's Mac n Cheese and everything else.
