The hostess excuse for the long wait was "Well, this is NYC..." And this was 45 minutes after we were supposed to have a table!

Un locale di questo calibro non può mettere fretta a dei clienti che spendono più di 500$ ! Carne cotta non come richiesto e dal gusto sotto la media, personale inadeguato che mette fretta al cliente.

If you like meat you will like the Benjamin. Why go to Brooklyn when you can get a Lugar style steak in Midtown. God sides too.

Very expensive, no sauces (e.g., bearnaise) can be made or ordered (!), sides were bland, ambiance terrible (hotel in midtown=mostly tourists). Not even a sommelier on staff to make recommendations. B

Solid, but not the best in NY. Get the bacon and your favorite cut for the steak. Can get pretty loud, and very busy given its location.
