Stephen BloomSetembro 30, 2017Ordered the Gumbo. Had to look outside to be sure I was in Detroit and not New Orleans. Very friendly staff. The best I have had in years. The food has real soul in it!
Try the fried chicken wings, collard greens, and candied yams are #yummy. They are seasoned and cooked perfectly just like mine. :) #yay

They also offer very casual dining.
I recommend the angry lobster! Not on the menu but ask and ye shall receive. Fried lobster over rice and smothered with gumbo - yum!

The Bartender at sidebar does not wash her hands between picking up dirty plates and serving drinks. Beware!
