the heart healthy vegetarian wrap was one of the best things I've had in Sri Lanka, so flavorful and delicious
very very moving and emotionally intense, with stories and photos covering the tsunami. all visitors to the area should visit
the man told us about each of the turtles there, and allowed us to hold the smaller ones. appears to be quite humane. definitely worth a trip!
breakfast is decent and affordable, dinner service was slow and they ran out of chili, so my noodles were bland and boring and too greasy. cocktails are overpriced. nice view, though!
they guarantee at least one whale sighting, but sometimes it'll be very minimal after hours on the boat. they advertise free wifi that doesn't exist, but you should be watching for whales anyway
rooms were clean, outside seating was nice, perfect location on the beach near boat tours to snorkel on pigeon island
all the dishes are so great—for a cheaper drink option I had gin and egb (much tastier than any cocktails in my opinion)
best bakery for lunch in maharagama, hands down. I particularly love the vegetable spring rolls.
best prices, best food in mirissa. everything on the menu is good so can't even offer a recommendation
wifi only works in common areas, lots of bugs, does not seem particularly clean, but excellent service for good value and tasty food
large selection of both western and Sri Lankan dishes and great quality and value—love the kottu
