Pink Floyd's Footsteps

Alexander Duveen: Pink Floyd's "Remember a Day" was recorded there in October 1967. The sessions also produced Syd Barrett's "Jugband Blues", "Vegetable Man", "In the Beechwoods" and "John Latham".

Alexander Duveen: Pink Floyd's seven studio album "Obscured by Clouds" was recorded here on two separate trips in February / March 1972, while the band had already started working on The Dark Side of the Moon (1973).

Alexander Duveen: Modern premises of Pye Studios (ATV House) in the sixties, where Pink Floyd recorded their Soundtrack from the Film More in March 1969.

Alexander Duveen: Originally a tram and then a bus depot, Queens Hall had latterly became a concert and exhibition venue. It was demolished in 1989 and the site is now mostly used as a surface level car park.

Alexander Duveen: On the 7th February 1980, Pink Floyd started their quite limited tour of The Wall, affected by the small matter of a stage curtain catching fire due to some errant pyrotechnics.
