The most historic building in Dublin from my point of view. It was knocked down and rebuilt 3 times! Make sure to get inside, it's beautiful.

Steeped in history. Go visit, it's very special... They have historical tours here. I haven't been on them BUT this was where Ireland declared independence and it resulted in one hell of a shootout

Relieved the Celtic tiger ended before they could execute plans for demolishing the interior for a (nother) shopping mall. One of our finest buildings and nation's treasure.

I meant to say, tremendous. The heart of the Irish revolution in Easter 1916. Patrick Pearse died after declaring the Irish Republic. He was executed by the British.

Gives you a great insight into the 1916 uprising, and some of the bullet holes can still be seen on the front of the building!

The two big circular discs on the front a the top are where two clocks were. One to tell when the post ship war arriving and the other to tell when it was leaving.
