eric bornemann: Food is really amazing. The naan and dips, pork shank, redfish, and bronzino are all standouts. Beware the wait staff does try to push you into ordering too much food.
eric bornemann: If you like game this is the place to eat. Service is a little weird, but the food is great. Smoked trout dip and the elk main are outstanding. Portions are huge.
eric bornemann: The best part of Mesa Verde. You can actually get into the village and get a sense of what it was like to live there. Cool spring that still flows and kept the village alive.
eric bornemann: When in Rome… touristy yet historic train ride. I suggest the half day option to cascade canyon unless you are a real train nut. Also, book a seat on each side so you can be out of the sun.

eric bornemann: Didn’t get a drink there as drinking craft cocktails in a parking lot isn’t appealing, but the Tinhorn bourbon made with blue corn is damn tasty- pick yourself up a bottle.
eric bornemann: Amazing views from the top of the four corners region where you can see a hundred miles in all directions. Be sure to check the weather.
eric bornemann: Nice view but be sure to book the tour 14 days in advance. Totally different perspective even if some of the rangers can be long-winded.

eric bornemann: Awesome food at this low key fusion joint. The brûlée char sui is awesome as are the noodles and filet. You’ll have so many French fries.
eric bornemann: Great park - be sure to do two days to see it all and not get worn out. Book your tours 14 days out the minute they go on sale as visiting a site makes all the difference.
