Lots of food options, but not much else of interest here. Not a fan of the architecture and design of the space either, though it looks promising from the outside.
198元 for 300 grams of a Malaysian durian. 1-2 persons can eat 300 grams in one sitting. It’s frozen, thawed in a microwave on site, cut up and the fruit is packaged in a paper box.
Good breakfast combos and little outdoor seating area. They quite obnoxiously opened up next door to Tim Hortons, which had this little corner all to themselves.
A really nice Mi Store. They even sell their bigger kitchen appliances here. They are really becoming a premium brand, like something between an Apple and a MUJI.
Good lunch sets. Lots of high-quality proteins. Tried both their volcano hot salmon and tuna bowls, but they weren’t spicy. Chicken breast bowl was pretty ok. Pass on the slow-cooked beef.
Hunanese pork is the bomb. The ham & cheese, kung pao, charcuterie board and french fries are also good. Get a side of pickles with your sandwich. I dig their 80s playlist too.
One of the cleanest, most well-maintained film studios I’ve seen in Shanghai. Many photogenic modern living spaces to pick from.
Popular film studio in Jiading. Many good European and American-style rooms to shoot in. They may look slightly fake in person, but they photograph well and a good art director can work their magic.
