The 叉烧 ramen and gyoza dumplings lunch set is a good deal. Not my favorite ramen in town, but it’s pretty good.
Apparently the only China Telecom location where foreigners can set up broadband service in Suzhou? Broadband is bundled with 3 mobile numbers whether you want them or not. Around 480元 a month.
The meat buns, tea-soaked egg and soy milk set is the best, and is so cheap. Not sure how they can stay in business with these prices.
North of Gusu. Relaxed part of town to live. Many fancy apartments and shopping malls. Lots of open areas. Well-connected to high-speed rail and the metro.
Nice friendly vets. Clean new facilities. Upstairs near the gym. They also do vaccines and offer boarding services. Pretty fair prices. I like their resident cat and corgi.
Spanish lattes, good drip coffees, clean design, their croissant and chocolate danish are also good. Better membership perks than Starbucks. Much better, friendlier service than Manner and M Stand.
One of the better supermarkets I’ve seen in China. It’s huge with good produce, a small bakery, fresh meats, cookware, some imported foods, and a self check-out section.
Probably the best Japanese curry restaurant in the area. Their pork cutlet and fried chicken curries are really good, as good as Coco’s. Skip the sushi tho.
Quiet little shopping plaza nestled on the side of 四季和鸣雅园. Has a supermarket, fruit store, café, bakery, dry cleaners, pharmacy, gym and maybe a McDonald’s, but not sure if it has the foot traffic.
