Consistently delicious - come for lunch (amazing chicken milanese) or for dinner, where you must get the heirloom tomato salad, followed by the gnocchi. Menu changes daily based on what's in season!
Just like one of your longest friends, Union Square Cafe is always there for you. Fantastic brunch! Thank you @unionsquarecafe team and @dhmeyer. Amazing hospitality from Victoria!! #NYC
Looking for a great dessert place? This place has been offering great food to New Yorkers for nearly three decades. Certainly try their Pumpkin Cheescake, every bite is worth it. Leia mais
Everything was amazing! Was here for my birthday & did not hold back. Had three sets of appetizers before a steak entree and each platter was phenomenal. Even the bread and olive oil/spices were great
The spaghettini stole the show for me with the swordfish meatballs. It was perfection. I got the steak but it was a little too salty. The lamb was phenomenal. A little underwhelmed but good overall
The USC Burger is served on a brioche bun, with cheddar, bacon, pickles, and onion. It's juicy, full of delicious flavor, and comes with a mountain of french fries. Leia mais
If you want a guaranteed great meal keep this iconic resto in mind. Used to go on the reg. After a 7 years it's just as great as the first time. Veggie sides, steak, burger, tartar...service =+++
Danny Meyer is a culinary genius, so the food is obviously incredible. The menu changes and all food is locally and seasonally sourced. A great place for any party or occasion.
The half-bottle of Krug for $64 is a real bargain (the BevMo pro is $95). The lemon infused vodka and inspired cocktail menu make brunch here a real win!
The chicken milanesa here is like none other. The chicken cutlet so delicately crumbed and perfectly fried, with a salad on top and salty notes from pecorino, it can't be beat.
Great food and service right in Union Square. Go for brunch and you'll be back for dinner! Can't miss with anything on the menu but you must try the mashed potatoes!
Consistently fabulous. Eat at the bar. Menu repeats itself seasonally, so you can have the same great heirloom salad as you did the year before. Pastas come in half orders, great for light dining.
The food was absolutely delicious, however the service was a bit too relaxed for my liking. It took our server 40 minutes just to take our order. But I still love it and great food!
Good: baked eggs (rustic, but yummy). BLT was good, but we like a stacked BLT with more of everything. Only order when tomatoes are in season. Fresh squeezed juice=yummy bfast cocktails.
Had a wonderful dinner here with corn soup first. I had the pork and my wife the scallops. Finished with Key Lime Pie and coffee. Nice sparkling wine to start.
Skip the reservations needed months in advance and pull up to the bar at USC, where the staff is warm+knowledgable about Danny Meyer's excellent food and wine. Fellow diners and environs are friendly.
The main floor dining room is great for conversation. I hope the new location can retain the quiet, less frenetic ambience of so many manhattan restaurants.
three words: danny, meyer, and pasta. going on over 25 years, the menu will never disappoint and neither will he. lasagna bolognese is swanky and from your grandmother's kitchen all at once.
We were in the mood for seafood and were simply delighted by the food. For starters the oysters on the half shell were super fresh, and the grilled tuna for our entrée was equally as fresh.
This is one of New York’s most prestigious eateries founded by restaurateur Danny Meyer, also founder of Shake Shack, according to this article http://bloom.bg/1zfUhca
A NearSay Restaurant Week Pick! We recommend the Roasted Berkshire Pork Sandwich followed up with a Raspberry Crumb Cake with Raspberry-Lime Sherbet. Yup, we're in love with Danny Meyer too.
always a pleasure, half order of pastas, you will meet someone interesting at the bar, see photos here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=255063&id=765634189&l=4d6cb114a2
