Johnny PukeMaio 28, 2014Walk from our room to elevator on the 7th floor in the pyramid was brutal, if you stay in the pyramid, get the highest floor possible, as there are fewer rooms the higher you get.
Coolest hotel. I love the shape of the pyramid. You can feel the elevator move on a slant to accomodate the shape of the hotel.

Jaren SMaio 12, 2013Check-in special is great. Tried to use it and the bartender, Joe was an ass and a jerk. Showed him the offer and he snatched my phone out of my hand. He almost hit my friend in the head as well.
Good place to stay. Affordable, on the strip, close to Mandalay Bay. 4A/4B elevators can be a bit slow though. Plan accordingly.

Service is great. Public House is excellent, outstanding burger and filet mignon sliders. Great french onion soup gratin.
The casino workers are great but the cocktail waitresses legit take 30 mins to get to you per round- nearly make the "free" drinks not even close to worth it.....don't tip...sorry but you'll see....
Another tip..near the Guest Check in there is a small Alcoholic Smoothie Bar, the guy that wears a tie all the time, very good looking and hot! Always go to him, he hooks you up!

Was worried about all the negative reviews, but the service was fantastic, food was good, and prices inexpensive! Recommended for breakfast.

No matter where we stay we always end up here for the evening. Aurora is great, the Party Pit girls are nice, for the most part the people are pretty laid back and cool. Carrot Top Rocks

Get to McDonald's at upstairs food court around 3 am. Buy as many McDoubles as U can. Wait til menu changes to breakfast at 4 am & sell McDoubles for twice the price to all the drunk kids!!!

I've been coming to the Luxor for 15 years and think its a shame that they have done away with all the Egyptian lore and glamor. The hotel still has some mystique but they are going way to commercial
