- Watty WattsJaneiro 25, 2019Heading downtown? Go to the departure level and catch the E2 bus. It’s $2 per person and it only adds about 15 minutes to your ride.
- James GottJunho 14, 2013This airport is laid out perfectly for the business traveler. Expedited lines for business/first people makes it a painless experience.
- Jeremy ElrodNovembro 23, 2012If you need to ship something home, go to "Rush It" on the baggage concourse. They'll ship whatever you need, including a pocket knife I forgot to put in my checked bag.
- Republican National ConventionJulho 20, 2012Vice President George H. W. Bush was nominated for president at the 34th Republican National Convention at the Louisiana Superdome, currently know as the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, August 15–18, 1988.
- Bryant CarterMaio 8, 2012When checking in at concourse B, choose the left line. The one on the right looks shorter but it wraps around. The left is a straight shot.
- trippNfallNSetembro 1, 2011Decadence kickoff was fabulous! Don't leave your phone unattended, some hoodlum will take it and police reports are antagonising. Have fun Queens!! Happy Decadence ;)
- Terminal D is really nice and Wow Cafe has a great veggie burger. So stupid they're wasting tax payer money to build a new airport.
- Daniel ArcherNovembro 11, 2019Wow this airport is so nice! But the rental car shuttle is such a long ride.
- Noel N.Abril 18, 2013Cheesy grits at Cheesecake Scoop Cafe in Terminal D are better than any grits I've had back home up North.
- Tarek PertewFevereiro 5, 2015Read the tips that aren't really tips. Like the one pictured from Janne Brown.

- get a picture of that liver transplant banner so all of your lame friends will think you are clever
- If you are traveling Southwest and not checking bags - go to the right towards security and there are 4 self checkins - usually no lines!
- Brent NewmanMaio 21, 2011As of this date airport shuttle roundtrip to and from dtown = $38. Cab = $33 each way for first 2 people, $14 per additional person. Groups of 3 or more = cheaper in a cab. Van cabs available.

- Tariq AhmadAbril 12, 2014Praline Connection is great. Worth stopping by and picking up some pralines.
- Apart from having one of the slowest TSA ID Check Lines, the baggage claim is surprisingly pretty fast and easy to get to, unlike other airports.
- Security lines can be surprisingly long, especially after a heavy-tourist weekend. Don’t underestimate wait times.
- Sagar JhobaliaNovembro 28, 2016Get some raw cash. Not all delicious places in the city accept plastic currency
- Nice small airport. Could use some upgrades, but is easy to navigate.
- CTIA Trade Shows & EventsJaneiro 26, 2012The main airport for those traveling to/from the International CTIA WIRELESS 2012 conference and exposition! Register before April 2, 2012 for discounted rates, and book your flight early! #CTIAW12 Leia mais
- GinnyOutubro 28, 2013Plan to wait about 30 minutes at security if you have a morning flight, unless you are fortunate to have a priority or tsa pre-check. Add 10-15 for printing boarding passes and dropping off luggage.
- joeJaneiro 16Probably a good idea to be in 2 hours early as you never know how the security check is going to be .. !!
- Rudi ReitbergOutubro 23, 2013Print out your boarding pass at the self-serve counter and utilise the FREE baggage check outside. Save yourself some time.
- Depending on your flight, you can get through TSA fairly quickly. TSAPrecheck is the best!
- CamiJunho 27, 2012Not the most impressive airport, but all of their signs are in four languages- one of them being Japanese! And if you check in you get a free baggage tag. :P
- MuratSetembro 20, 2022Bright airport, looks like a shopping mall. Big enough, but easy to navigate and very passenger friendly. Could be busy at the weekends, expect long lines. 25min/35-40USD taxi ride away.
- Mimi UkwuaniMaio 27, 2014Went to the French Qtr this wkend, and a cab for 1 or 2 is $33, 3 or more $14 each. Just a heads up.

- Emily CorleyNovembro 20, 2013wow, the people here must hate their jobs because they are absolutely miserable, esp at ticketing and security. if you don't want to deal with a lot of people, prob shouldn't work at a busy airport.
- Small airport, TSA line can be long early in morning, do not open exclusive line for premiere flyers at all times (if ever), despite being marked.
- Vegetarians: pack your lunch. Absolutely zero veggie options. Even all of the salads are pre made with meat.

- Venkatesh HodavdekarAbril 23, 2015Good food is hard to find here. A place like New Orleans should do better.
- Manako IhayaOutubro 28, 2018Make sure you’re lined up in the right security lane for your gate, even for TSA Pre-check. Otherwise you’ll have to go through security all over again!
- Starbucks....finally...right across from gate c7....yippy.
- Ted FrankNovembro 4, 2013The bathrooms by the Lost & Found in Concourse C are a relic of the pre-9/11 security setup, get no foot traffic, and are much cleaner than typical airport bathrooms.
