- patricia freyJunho 15, 2019Airlines should stop “talking over each other’s announcements”! Also make sure ALL monitors and electrical outlets work!!!!
- Randy RaetzNovembro 3, 2013Men: If you need to use a shitter, go all the way down to the 3rd men's bathroom. It has a wheelchair access sign. The first two bathrooms only have 2 stalls & guys are reading Star magazine. WTF!
- Leah EJunho 15, 2011Good airport... Small, very few long lines (compared to the big hubs). Every flight I've flown coming back in arrives early. Almost no New Orleans delays here! :)
- Ted FrankNovembro 4, 2013The bathrooms by the Lost & Found in Concourse C are a relic of the pre-9/11 security setup, get no foot traffic, and are much cleaner than typical airport bathrooms.
- Ami H.Fevereiro 14, 2023Airport originally named Moisant Field after aviator John Moisant (died in crash 1910), later Moisant Stock Yards, hence, MSY. Renamed in 2001 to honor 100th anniversary of Armstrongs birth
- Rudi ReitbergOutubro 23, 2013Print out your boarding pass at the self-serve counter and utilise the FREE baggage check outside. Save yourself some time.
- Eric RowlesFevereiro 16Well that was epic! Four standing room only presentations and 500+ attendees! Thanks again #BSH2024!
- Emily PiecrustJulho 17, 2010Concourse B has decent food. Lucky Dogs, Praline Express, and Live Oaks are some local options. The Magnificent Burger from Jester's was pretty good, and huge to boot.
- Manako IhayaOutubro 28, 2018Make sure you’re lined up in the right security lane for your gate, even for TSA Pre-check. Otherwise you’ll have to go through security all over again!
- Terminal D finally gets a facelift. Check out the new seats in the rotunda. United has lots of outlets.
- Gwen MahanOutubro 11, 2013You can grab beer or wine from a lil place across gate b7 and take it to drink @ your terminal! No need to sit @ the bar.
- joeJaneiro 16Probably a good idea to be in 2 hours early as you never know how the security check is going to be .. !!
- Shana JSetembro 24, 2011Great souvenir shopping, but eat before you get here. There is no good good in here at all. But the drinks at the bakery at B9 are fabulous
- Tariq AhmadAbril 12, 2014Praline Connection is great. Worth stopping by and picking up some pralines.
- Small airport with not a lot of services but you can get through security quickly and it’s never a long walk to your gate.
- Katherine FehrAgosto 17, 2013If you're in terminal C go to copeland's kitchen and get a banana foster sundae. It's remarkable!!
- If you are checking through TSA pre-check you don't have to remove shoes, belts, or take laptops out. Funny that so many still do despite signs .
- Don't go 5hrs early this is not you typical busy Airport! Also ask for the secret vending machine by the bookstore if you're looking for a snack or a drink! ;)
- Rick DoesburgAgosto 25, 2016Signs are not very clear, lots of running around. (Rental cars are in the building next to the airport, follow public transportat signs)
- Fast lines but seriously slow internet. the whole state has super slow internet!
- Jake SmithMarço 25, 2016Not many food options past security (at least in the Southwest terminal). Keep that in mind if you're fighting a vicious Bourbon Street hangover.
- MuratSetembro 20, 2022Bright airport, looks like a shopping mall. Big enough, but easy to navigate and very passenger friendly. Could be busy at the weekends, expect long lines. 25min/35-40USD taxi ride away.
- Apart from having one of the slowest TSA ID Check Lines, the baggage claim is surprisingly pretty fast and easy to get to, unlike other airports.
- Leaving Louisiana? Enjoy one last luxury. Get a drink from the bar and take it to the gate (or on the plane). Happy travels!
- Watty WattsJaneiro 25, 2019Heading downtown? Go to the departure level and catch the E2 bus. It’s $2 per person and it only adds about 15 minutes to your ride.
- Make sure to pick up a Big Boy Gooey cake on your way outta town.
- Kylie JayOutubro 3, 2014The taxi lines can be confusing as there are many signs but seems to only have one in operation at a time
- Elena PetrovaFevereiro 3, 2020Все достаточно быстро, удобно. United киоски самообслуживания, будьте готовы знать свой номер бронирования
- Bryant CarterMaio 8, 2012When checking in at concourse B, choose the left line. The one on the right looks shorter but it wraps around. The left is a straight shot.
- Always a good experience at this airport. Security is normally pretty quick too
- If you need to kill time, the Hilton across the street is comfortable, nice, and has wireless and good food.
- Lindsay SmithSetembro 30, 2012Great experience with American and Southwest though! United ticket desk is horrible here. Do not expect help, compassion or anything other than Very unhappy folks who do not really like their jobs.
- Dani CAbril 20, 2013They have separate TSA areas for each terminal so make sure you are at the RIGHT one!!!
- Jessica LaneJunho 30, 2011There's a FREE shuttle that takes you from the airport to the French Quarter for the Essence Music Festival weekend. I think it just started today, DEFINITELY check that out!! Leia mais
- Sam (@HandstandSam)Fevereiro 12, 2011PRO TIP: Eat BEFORE you go through security at ACME Oyster house. Delicious, but dont go there if you are short on time. Food options are BEFORE security.
- Doug WMaio 17, 2017I hate to say anything bad about a place with Louis Armstrong's name on it, but this is the lamest big city airport I've ever been to. Just a whole lot of nothing once you go through security.
- CTIA Trade Shows & EventsJaneiro 26, 2012The main airport for those traveling to/from the International CTIA WIRELESS 2012 conference and exposition! Register before April 2, 2012 for discounted rates, and book your flight early! #CTIAW12 Leia mais
- Foxxy BMarço 13, 2017Concourse C has little worth eating—an employee at the Zatarain's literally told me nothing was good. Don't expect to survive on anything but water & snacks, sprinkled with gross fatty southern fare.
- Brent NewmanMaio 21, 2011As of this date airport shuttle roundtrip to and from dtown = $38. Cab = $33 each way for first 2 people, $14 per additional person. Groups of 3 or more = cheaper in a cab. Van cabs available.
- The renovations are amazing. Impressed with the new layout. Love NOLA!
- TSA at MSY is ridiculous! Why 1 person is checking boarding passes and 3 "watching" when there are 50+ people in line makes 0 sense to me. My advice is get there early / in plenty of time!
