It is very windy (~50-60 km/h) and temperature will go down a good 20 deg from Hobart temperature! Pack warm clothing!
The road up may be closed when snow is forecast; do call ahead to check and avoid disappointment. Near the top there is a nice spot to look out on southern Tasmania. We saw a rainbow!
Awesome little place with all Australian animals on display. The keepers are really entertaining and keep you safe when interacting with the animals.

Lunch specials - 11.90 for a main and drink. The stir fried rice noodles with grilled chicken was quite decent. Took shorter than the 20 mins wait to get to me.
Do try to stop the veggie lady from smothering your poor veggies in sauce as she can be over-generous with it.
Lor mee. For $3 only there's lots of ingredients, gravy doesn't turn watery and you can add all the vinegar, chilli and minced garlic you want.
After renovation added a traditional coffee counter so now you can have a bun and coffee/tea to go as breakfast! The shio pan, mushroom ham, raisin cream, are favourites.

Get the deluxe meal and be seated in the VIP dining room. 5 course meal with rice, one of the best vegetarian meals in HK.
