An amazing airport. Check out the Heritage zone in T4 for a really cool AV presentation of Singapore culture / history. Not too long, but a nice distraction to occupy your kids for 5-10 mins.
Mushroom dumplings, Foie Gras XLB and mini burger bao were really good. This is NOT Chinese dim sum, but their Western version is well executed in a really nice setting. It has a French chef & staff.
My new favourite dessert shop. Small, homely and not one of those modern, fancy shaved ice / Korean inspired venues. Tong yuen are excellent, with delicate & thin skins. Sago and Mango is also great.
Band is good, but they use some super cheap ass alcohol here. The vodka tastes horrible. Worth it for the band.
I really liked the Ravioli Carbonara. It is an excellent dish, but seems more like a 'deconstructed carbonara': whole yolk in a ravioli skin, covered in a cream sauce with bacon bits. Tastes amazing.
Really homely and family style Italian restaurant. Mushrooms & sausage pasta was excellent, as was the short rib beef with polenta. Very tasty food.
Really nice staff and a good happy hour place for drinks and snacks. Corn on the cob side dish was excellent, as was the Peach Clafoutis dessert (basically Peach Pie!). Well worth coming for dessert.
Ice cream stall in the Riteaid. Open 24 hours. I absolutely love their ice cream. Birthday cake is excellent and you get a great portion for just $2. Great for late night desserts.
Service is quick and everything gets made to order in front of you. The burger was really tasty and had a good charred texture on it. Milk shakes have real California milk ice cream in them!
Great authentic Mexican food. Almost all dishes come with a side of rice and beans. I loved the carnitas and their mole was smooth and really good.
Really popular with queues out the door even at 11:30Am on the weekends. Tables are small, but service is fast. No wonder they've been here for 30+ years.
Good food and super lovely service from a manager that wants to welcome everyone to his restaurant like family. Their hanger steak dish was excellent.
Outdoor seating area looking out onto the gardens is lovely. Very relaxing and picturesque. Indoors on Fri & Sat night they have live music. It has a really good vibe.
