The best part of living in LA is having this jewel as a giant back yard. So many different areas to explore - if you can only do one go for Mt. Lowe from Eaton Saddle.

Beautiful place to walk when the flowers are out. Go early before the heat and the crowds - it gets crazy.
Good solid Mexican food that is a bit better than the Milpas location. Good mole and outdoor seating.
Some of the best pizza in California, chef used to work at Roberta’s in Brooklyn. Crust is to die for. Can’t go wrong with the Meatlovers. You can usually find a spot at the bar to eat.
You won’t find a better way to spend an afternoon in LA on a beautiful day. Skip the tram and walk up and down.
Good and cheap dim sum - would be nice if they had a booze license and better parking.

Good craft beer selection and cute bar but lord oh lord, some class A douchbags hang out here. Bring earplugs to not have to listen to them.

Incredible views and cocktails, but the food and service is hit or miss. Great place to bring out of town guests for that nyc “wow” factor. Faux-Pastrami appetizer is the best thing on the menu.

Wonderful museum that does an incredible and informative job of presenting the complex history of the West. Fantastic curated temporary art exhibitions as well so come back often with a membership.
Odd location but vast menu with lots of specials and friendly service. Beer and wine is a bit disappointing but food is solid.
