Cool if remote ruins that overlook the mesas that start the Navajo and Hopi lands. Lots of short little interpretive walks to look at stuff.
Wonderful small town with good food, tons of stuff to do and great old buildings. Really one of the hidden gems of Arizona and the Western US.
Great place to get coffee to go in the morning before heading out to explore.
Really great tour that gives you a sense of the history and hardships that the miners faced. Reserve early so you don’t get shut out.
Small museum that tells the story of mining and the horrific labor abuses suffered during the Bisbee deportation of 1917. Fascinating, if fucked up and forgotten part of history.
Awesome urban trail with tons of stairs to climb and great views of the adorable town.
Easy wide fire road with great views looking West and South. If you ignore the freeway.
Nice high desert to explore just north of Phoenix. Badger Springs trail is nice
Neat to see the old theater but it is a tourist trap.
Like hiking in Grand Central Station but the view is incredible and worth dealing with other asshole hikers you will inevitably encounter on this crowded trail.
Good place for families- lots of animals to look at and short walks thru “the desert” to give you a sense of the landscape and plants.
