eric bornemann: Slow lift but good for the last runs at the end of the day as this part of the mountain has been in the shadows all day and isn’t slushy.
eric bornemann: Food is surprisingly good with the elk tenderloin the standout. Service is beyond disinterested and bar is slow but the cocktails are good for Utah.
eric bornemann: Good scenic stop between Phoenix and Tucson to rest your legs and take a little hike up the smaller saddle to get a nice view. Lots of history about a small civil war battle is cool. Friendly rangers.
eric bornemann: Unsung and remote NPS site that is worth seeking out. Loved the echo canyon loop trail and beautiful scenery and rocks. Worth spending a whole day.
eric bornemann: Fantastic hike with ever changing and stunning vistas and rock formations. Go counter-clockwise for an easier hike. Great for kids in the winter.
eric bornemann: We were shocked at how good the wine is here. The Cab Franc and Temp being standouts. I never thought we’d join an Arizona wine club but we did! Cute cottage and porch.
eric bornemann: Very crowded on weekends but still cool. Great place for kids to play especially if they are into Star Wars. Sunset ranger talk is a nice bonus.
