Baltimore Maryland: Climbing the 228 steps to the top of the first monument to George Washington provides an excellent view of the city from historic Mount Vernon where it is located.

Las Vegas: Check out the statue of Leo the MGM Lion on the corner of Tropicana and Las Vegas Boulevard. It weighs over 100,000 lbs and is the largest bronze statue in the U.S.
