The best club for indie, hardcore and punk gigs in Berlin in the heart of Kreuzberg. Has been around since the late 70ies.
Besides the omnipresent Alt Bier Düsseldorf is also known for its great mustard. I highly recommend the ABB and Radschläger Senf.
Nice old school ground in West Berlin and home of Tennis Borussia Berlin. Stadium and club have seen better times, but it is definitely worth a visit. Fan scene is small, but dedicated.
Beautiful park in Marzahn and probably the only reason to visit this part of Berlin. The park consists of several country themed areas. Parts are getting a makeover for the BUGA exhibition in 2017.
Personal favorites are the burger and the spare ribs. Silkworms and chicken feet are also on the menu if you prefer exotic food. Staff was super nice except for the grumpy guy at the door.
Fresh fish and seafood by the seaside, what's not to like? Portions are big and prices are reasonable.

Great local football pub run by football fans. They show pretty much every football match fom 1. to 2. Bundesliga.
Used to be the hotspot for the DDR elite, now open to everyone. Fantastic beach and a beautiful pier. Rent a Strandkorb for the whole experience.
Ostberlin's beach resort number one! Still got that eastern bloc charme even though parts have been renovated in 2015. No entry fee so give it a try.
Nice old school football ground. Home of the BFC Dynamo if they do not play at the Friedrich Ludwig Jahn Sportpark.
Local cuisine with a modern twist. Portions are quite big, consider this before ordering a starter. Located in an old building in the middle of the Old Town.
Short and easy 4km hike trough a beautiful canyon. Check out the abandoned village and churches on the way. There is a nice little tavern at the end of trail.
Great seafood restaurant a bit on the outskirts, but worth the way. Located directly by the sea with a nice view of the Fortezza. Be sure to make a reservation to get a nice table.
The beer menu is a nice alternative to the omnipresent Mythos and Fix. Good range of beers from Belgium. Be sure to check out the Septem Honey Ale from a greek microbrewery.
Nice and quiet location in the heart of the Old Town. Delicious meze and other local dishes. Very reasonable priced.
One of the better indian tourist traps on Falckensteinstrasse. Worth a visit for their lunch specials.
