Really cute street with lots of artesanal shops with furniture and souvenirs.
Atlixco is a beautiful little Pueblo Mágico. We went to see the villa iluminada (im sure it’s more fun with kids) but im sure the town is just as beautiful when flowers abound in other seasons.
Never thought I’d find such an array of furniture at such good prices near the city. There are many many vendors so be sure to shop around. I got my rustic dresser there in the far northeast corner.
I love office supply stores in general but this one had a particularly impressive array of artistic painting supplies. Also a thorough print center.
I mostly visit to go to Home Depot but they also have many very nice restaurants, like Central Central.
They almost never have small , plan penafiel but I usually buy beer there which is always in stock ;)
Many delicious sandwich options. A meal will cost you about 200mxn (at least). I had the mac n cheese, Smoky BBQ sandwich, and a mineral water. It was all delicious!!
Lots of cute, unique, international gifts. Ornaments, jewelry, scarves, coffee, soaps, and much more.
I love the boys over at New Life! It’s the only place in Illinois I will go for piercings or tattoos!
I love it! They usually have good drink specials, and their menu is clearly marked for gluten free and vegetarian diets. Very good UIUC atmosphere too with great service.
It’s a classic greasy spoon. Great service, traditional breakfast food, and open round the clock.
Well-stocked and a guy buying taquitos there once bought me a 30-rack of PBR so 10/10 would buy again. #taquitoman
I mostly love this place cause I’ve been going since I was a little kid with my grandparents. They have an extensive menu (kind of a greasy spoon) I do quite like it.
They always have exactly what I need and more :) scrapbooking, wood crafts, clothing for crafts, and much much more.
It’s a fun environment with plenty of space for dancing. Good dj’s, ladies night on Wednesday’s, friendly bartenders.
Cat food options very limited compared to dog food but I got what I needed. Also a large bakery with ready to eat food as well.
HUGE with a wide variety of products (toys, garden, kitchen goods, and ready to eat meals among typical supermarket items)
It’s a pretty complete craft store, wood boxes, glass jars, paints, styrofoam shapes, glitter, beads, fake flowers, etc. Not hobby lobby but a good substitute.
HUGE selection of mezcal. Good snacks (habas enchiladas, for example), and knowledgeable wait staff. Small space but they make the most of it.
The street is under construction but that doesn’t stop them from serving EVERY kind of beer you can imagine. The Barman had a pretty good knowledge of the selection and they had a good snack menu.
Large shopping center. Personally I’ve only really visited the outside but they have an ecobici stand and a Starbucks as well as a gym.
The story behind it is amusing and it’s a fun place to watch roller bladers. Also a pedestrian crossing point under reforma.
