If you're missing your western comfort food this is the place to go! It is more pricy than the local spots, but the portions are decent, the staff are friendly and it's a great people watching spot.
The decor is simply amazing! Romantic, great smoothies and cocktails. Plus you get a free Lao Lao shot with your meal if you ask. Best time to go is in the evening when it looks simply enchanted.
Go for an early morning tour or a late afternoon cruise for a simply breathtaking sunset. Lovely scenery and a great way to see every day Laos life as you sail by.
Barter, barter and throw in some more bartering. General rule of thumb half the initial price they give you and go from there. Tons of beautiful art, jewellery, clothes and unique Lao souvenirs.
Beautiful architecture. One of my favourite temples in Luang Prabang. It's awe inspiring creativity and culture at its finest.
Luang Prabang is quite modern compared to the rest of Laos. Prepare yourself for beautiful temples, lush greenery, rich cultural immersion, shopping, tours and an abundance of tasty Lao food.
A great mini glutes workout. Best time would be to leave around 5am to make the 6am subrise or catch a breathtaking sunset just before 6pm. Make sure you bring your camera along!
