A very interactive museum - probably the only museum in Amsterdam which I saw full of smiling kid faces... Good for adults too!

A cozy brown bar with a great selection of beers. Get in, and ask staff for a recommendation. Take an opportunity to explore a rich selection of local and imported beers.

Take Sichuan food (spicy!), it tastes great and is authentic! Also other regular chinese menu items but not that spectacular. Cozy and crowded place.
Great newly renovated museum. A walk through VOC ship is amazing, with a bit of imagination really brings past marine voyages into reality
Great modern art exhibition, was featuring extensive Matisse collection during our visit. Very inspiring place!
Lots of van Gogh's and his contemporaries painting, including some of most famous ones. Tells the story beyond paintings - also his life. Avoid long queues with a Museum card.

You can have a barbecue anywhere in the park: just grab some chicken wings, disposable barbecue set and some beer from a nearby AH and find a cozy spot next to a pond in the park
Great view all round! Do not take the elevator if you are afraid of heights - steers much better :) and the way to men toilet - with narrow all-glass hallway - is unbeatable! :)
An old port turning into an upcoming hip neighborhood. Take a free ferry from the Central station a day go to the amazing Vintage market. Grab a beer at Pllek or Norderlight afterwards.
On the expensive side compared to most other Asian restaurants aroind, and with slow service. But food is finger picking good! Don't go for a quick bite but to savor modern Asian cuisine!
With a small selection of tap beers proves the value is not in quantity but quality. With beer taps at the tables makes a great place for groups.
Extremely cozy inner yard on one of the busiest streets of A'dam. Try their home brewed beer. Or a cup of tea or coffee from their huge selection. Service was great too.

Delicious food! And very pleasant service! But don't go there if in a rush - usually >30 min queue on weekends. No reservations possible.
