Tom Halleran: If you are United premiere, you'll be treated better at Narita than at any other airport in the world with your own lines for check in, security, baggage claim, and everything else. Great airport too.
Tom Halleran: Half Italian restaurant, half pizzeria, the food is all good no matter which you want. Try the soups, and the specials, or just have a slice.

Tom Halleran: This is what an Irish pub should be. Lots of rooms and nooks to go have a pint, above average bar food, and great location near Grafton Street and St. Stephen's Green.
Tom Halleran: Great location to walk around Shinjuku, nice views, easy shuttle to/from both area airports, more than enough English speakers to make Americans comfortable. A great base for a trip to Tokyo!
Tom Halleran: Best airport sushi anywhere (and damned good for outside an airport, too). Terminal 1, near gate 34. Make it a point to stop here whenever you pass through Narita -- you won't be sorry!
Tom Halleran: Two connecting alleys of Japanese street food. Look for the yakitori stall that only serves pork and beef, and the noodle and tempura place. Both will be consistently crowded, but are worth the wait.
Tom Halleran: Very fresh, delicious Vietnamese food every time. When I miss SE Asia, I head here. Try any of the Pho options, or the grilled pork. Happy to see them getting busier!

Tom Halleran: My favorite hawker centre. Large, crowded but not cramped, great selection, many stalls open late. And some great carrot cake, satay, stingray, and other standby dishes.
