It's ALL amazing. I often pace myself on broth, then order kaedama (extra noodles) to go for an extra meal. Save room for the cookies!

Featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," this hole-in-the-wall spot is not to be missed! Toki can get busy, so make a reservation ahead of time. I recommend the Red Miso!
Tourist Tip: Love the Classic and the Kimchi. The egg is always perfectly creamy dreamy. Extra Noodle. Chicken Butt or Pork Cheek add on. Seriously. buttcheek FTW.

Went around 2pm on a Monday and had no wait. Pickle plate, dumplings (get them steamed), Taipei curry chicken, and kimchi were all outstanding.

There is ALWAYS a wait here but you can have a drink at The Pug while you wait. They share a license so you can bring your drinks upstairs. Get the Hakata Classic (kae dama!) and pan fried dumplings.

BeaAgosto 14, 2013Ordered kimchi, red miso and pork dumplings and each was delicious. Pickles are nothing special and fades when you are served the best ramen in the city!
The classic ramen with homemade sriracha sauce is a dream. Don't hesitate to order a side of kimchi and an Ice Dome sake to top it off.
I've had the fried prawn heads and "chicken butts" as add-ons, both were AMAZING. Good rule of thumb with Toki: If it sounds like you won't like it, you'll LOVE it!
