You can sit in the Lola Savannah side at night. Chairs are more comfortable and it's cozier than the main restaurant and much easier to have a conversation.

Hard to beat the outside deck seating under the the big oak tree. The biggest "ceiling" fan I've ever seen keeps it breezy and cool in even the hottest weather
Go to The Grove Wine Bar and have a glass of wine beneath the giant Live Oak tree covered patio...maybe the best outdoor patio in Austin that's not on a lake.
Since when is it appropriate to bring small, screaming children into a wine bar? If you want cozy atmosphere, come during the dead of the week or go elsewhere.
