One of the most fabulous spots in the universe. Very discreet. If you're a guest, you get what you ask for.
As of today the Clift is no longer part of the Morgans Hotel Group....sad to see them go. Hope new Sonesta management maintains the vibe.

Incantatevi con lo sgabello di Renee Marguerite!- I love the Clift. I love all the Morgan's hotels I've stayed at. Stylish, discrete and rocking toiletries. Upgrade to a suite if you want to completely indulge yourself. Bathrooms could be more posh.

Don't miss out on the Room service. Particularly for breakfast. Bacon is excellent, as is the salmon and egg croissant, good coffee, etc. Service is great in everything they do.
Gorgeous and dramatic lobby, with great cocktails at the Redwood Room! That said, the rooms are small and there is a better value to hipness ratio elsewhere.- Dar DarAgosto 11, 2014The Lobby is dope. The bathrooms in the rooms are dope. I always judge the hotel by the bathroom and these bathrooms do not disappoint. :)
Get the Black Berry Margarita and check out the 100 year old chair that survived the earth quick by the elevator. Prost!

- wifi in the room comes at a pretty hefty daily rate, shame. The rooms are lovely & bright but the walls are def thin. Would come again but only at competitive rates. Doesn't compare to the Sanderson.

Decent rooms, good bar and good breakfast. What more do you need in a hotel?
