Really nice and quiet place for lunch. Cocktails here are mind-blowingly good. The cheeseburger and chicken salad sandwich are both great - but the kicker is the fries - which are deliciously salty.
This place has been my SAVIOR many a late night!!Seriously delicious dishes, desserts, drinks and staff. I'm going to say it: probably one of the best fried chickens in NYC. Don't sleep on this place!
The thing to get is the fried chicken as everyone else says. It's juicy, delicious and they give you big portions. The service was great. Kid friendly place with booths and also a bar
Awesome spot with roomy booths, friendly vibe, and delicious cocktails. Great for dinner or brunch, both with an amazingly good fried chicken (and waffles at brunch!) on the menu.
The buttermilk fried chicken was succulent and tasty through and through. And that sautéed kale was sweet and went well with the thick cut bacon. Make sure to also try the seasonal cobbler.
Great drinks. Solid French fries. Chicken is good. But all of the other food here is a bit of a let down. We keep giving their other food another chance, but haven't had a truly great meal here yet.
I feel like this place had a hiccup a couple years ago of not so great food. But I've been back three times in 2014 and have been really happy. Gumbo is outstanding. Fried chicken is great.
Great cocktails here. Particularly enjoyed the Rumspringa (made with Demarara rum, housemade orgeat, and lime & mint swizzled with crushed ice and angostura bitters).
Their late-night menu is later than anywhere else in the hood—so if you're craving fried chicken at midnight, this is it. Pro tip: Hungover? Order the oversized BLT at brunch with a Bloody Mary.
Delicious cocktails, fantastic food. Sit at the back patio if it's warm out :) Highly recommend "The Jesuit" - a mix of bourbon, tonic, and grapefruit.
"serving its full menu (every night til 4am)...ordered up some mussels, a burger, and a couple more beers to wash them down. Loved the open kitchen in this enormous bar...solid beer selection." Leia mais
They don't hold tables, so make sure you get there ahead of time, especially if you want one of their tables in the back. The succulent fried chicken entree made it worth the wait, though...
The gumbo is good but hot hot hot. Also don't sit near the bar. There's a regular that comes in and when he sits at bar, his plumber's crack was staring at us the whole time, blech!
Fried chicken was phenomenal and the cocktails were superb. The open kitchen proves that their chefs have nothing to hide and are proud of the work they are doing.
The sidecar club sounds simple, but it is the perfect combination of savory and sweet. Turkey, cheese, APPLES, and vidalia all layered on perfectly toasted (yet oh so soft) thick bread. Leia mais
Ehh. Let me be a voice of reason. Been here enough to be one. Cocktail game is up there with the best of them, but when I leave here after a $200 bill for 2 Im underwhelmed with the food n feel sad.
Hands down buttermilk fried chicken is a must to try for 1st timer. The occasional special Brussels sprout is delicious! Awesome services everytime I come here!
