I always get the eggs in a tasty 😋 nest. I substitute the bacon with avocado 🥑. Sit at the bar. Watch the cook work his magic.

Eggs in tasty nest is the bomb. Get it with their also very tasty bug, warm biscuits and a good diner coffee (but skip the juice)

I got the Chicken Fried Steak and loved it. My boyfriend got the Corned Beef Hash, however and found his meal to be soggy and was incapable of distinguishing the potato from the beef in the center.

Excellent greasy spoon. You’ll always leave with a full belly. The food is great and the prices are decent.

The BEST breakfast in the city. Lynne, Amanda, David are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Literally everything is fantastic. Get the biscuits.

There is only one meal suitable for vegans on the menu: a vegan tofu scramble. Food is nice but tip from another user about vegan biscuits and gravy is wrong.

My favorite breakfast in all of California. Dineresque food with the artsy crowd. Servers are super nice. The guys cooking are fun to watch. The tasty nest is a winner. I go every time I'm in SF

If you don't want to wait in line, head across the street and up the hill a block to All You Knead. Just as good diner style greasy food and never a wait.

Tiny place with about 20 person capacity. Line to sit & dine extends down the street- very much worth the wait!

The thing about this restaurant is that the food is really good, but I saw a beetle/cockroach inside of the fridge when the chef opened it. Needless to say that is the downfall.

Filthy and dated but no visible vermin. The food is worth it all. Coffee is average. My favorite is the sausage patty and biscuits.

Go to the one on 16th enjoy a comfy booth, tables without disintegrating bottoms, chairs from the last decade and a Fucking MIMOSA! Service is about the same, but a drink makes it tolerable.
