Although the décor and menu are minimalistic, their coffee is brewed to absolute perfection. The baked goods went perfectly with our espresso.

I've wasted my money in all the damn bars and cafes in this friggin city - this place makes THE BEST espresso drinks in all five boroughs. not maybe. not sometimes. definitely and always. nuff said.
I love looking at the ever-rotating collection of art on the wall while waiting for a nine ounce. Great way to start a Saturday or Sunday morning.

Ashley RoseAgosto 11, 2015You can't go wrong with any espresso drink here. Iced coffee for the summer if you're into that sort of thing. And always a pastry- Ninth street espresso sets the standard for espresso and pour over in Alphabet City. The Tompkins Sq Park location does not disappoint.

the wifi password is 341east10 and there's an outlet by the stools near the corner.
$3 for an iced coffee but SO AMAZING! Cash only. Remember to tell them to punch a heart in that card on the counter because once you hit ten, you get a free coffee.

Just east of Ave C, this shop uses an Alphabet City Blend custom roasted by Chicago-based Intelligentsia. All of Ninth Street’s espresso drinks use three times the regular quantity of beans for a single shot, resulting in increased natural oils and a luxurious espresso with nutty hints of caramel.
