You'll walk through each exhibit with headphones so this exhibit is good to visit if traveling alone. Each month they have a special exhibit as well.

Ben BloomgrenNovembro 13, 2015You cannot come to this place too many times. Even as a totally blind person, the experience is phenomenal as long as you come with a sighted person, or get a docent to tour with you.
This is a very nice, seemingly very well-funded museum. It’s beautiful. The gift shop is dangerously good. The exhibits are a delight.

Brendon BiegelMarço 26, 2012Take your time and enjoy the exhibits, then make your way to the Experience Gallery where you can actually try some instruments out. If possible see a performance in their auditorium.
MIM is an essential Phoenix stop! Get here early, take your time. Take a break for lunch in their terrific café. And have fun banging gongs, taiko, and gamelan in the Experience Music room!

Staff member? The restaurant is half-priced on Mondays. Get a cookie. They're delicious!- Beautiful facilty and fantastic collection of musical instruments! $15 for a museum that you can spend the whole day in is not bad.
