Not one for fancy French cuisine usually but for high-quality dining out in the area it's difficult to top Provender. Menu has more hits than misses and very reasonably priced.
Good coffee and decent food and cake, just a shame I never choose to go here because ITS A GLORIFIED CRECHE

Cha Sui Buns!!! Fluffy clouds of happiness! Dumplings are lovely- really authentic family run- BYOB - great atmosphere! And cheap
You'll need to book a week in advance but you won't regret it. Fantastic authentic dishes, wine and lovely friendly service. Highly recommended
The quiz on a Tuesday night is the star attraction. Brilliant. Locals pub with loads of good things going for it
The roast beef on a Sunday can't be beaten locally although the buttermilk chicken puts up a good fight. Please don't come here I want it all to myself
The salmon nigiri, avo & salmon maki, and spider rolls (ask them not to put the sauce on the top) are all fantastic. If you deviate from that list don't be surprised if you're not in love with it...
Chipolatas and Inexpensive free range eggs makes a breakfast alright. Weekly lunchtime hot-food counter serves a huge portion (could fill two people) and is delicious. Pates and pies are also awesome
