Great for large groups, but also fine for small. Pick out things sort of like a grocery store, and the waiter helps you decide the best way to prepare it (or decide yourself). Also on an old Bourdain!
I checked out a few coworking spaces - this place is really nice, centrally located, and lots of restaurant options for dinner / lunch.
Everything here was delicious. I don't really remember what we ordered, but most of the things we ordered had a *star* next to them on the menu. One of my fav hole-in-the-walls
This night market is AWESOME. It's exactly what I want in a night market in Bangkok. Incredible variety of street food, a section of loud bars and music, and fidget spinners as far as the eye can see.
An upscale western "mall" of sorts with pricing that matches. Lots of fusion food here, classy breakfast jaunts, and nice shopping if you need. Nice place to reset if the city is exhausting you.
Curious about raw food? Not raw meat - instead it's uncooked ingredients, prepared in a way that doesn't involve heat or processed foods. One of the best raw-food restaurants I've come across
Everything was awesome - but I specifically remember the banana fritters being an excellent appetizer.
The food and drinks are ~ok~ and price is a bit high. But the views are great. Note - Flip flops not allowed, wear real shoes!
Came here with some locals - really good, affordable, and in an interesting part of the city.
High concept restaurant, the chef is (or was) from Brooklyn. Service was impeccable. Order the prix-fix and let yourself be treated.
Got here a bit too early to really enjoy it - I'd recommend 9pm or later. Flip flops not allowed, at least according to the sign, so be prepared.
If you wanna see a crazy Thailand mall and a catch a movie to get out of the heat - this place is great.
Looks like a small town thrift shop thats also a bar with tourist drinks and a pool table. Weird vibe, but I liked it.

The ~real~ touristy part of Bangkok. You go because you might as well see it for yourself. All of the bars are varying degrees of fine - choose one that speaks to you and don't think too hard.
Not a lot of good burgers to be found in Bangkok - but this place satiated the burger craving I had.
Delicious sit-down Thai restaurant. There's some dishes with "Stink beans" - very distinct taste, you should get at least 1 dish that has them.
In most of the Foodland's around town, it seems this diner also exists within them. I assume they're all like this one - a great diner for quick local and western breakfasts.
