Terminal 4: get food or drink before going through security. More options and cheaper. Inside, Panda Express sells bottled water for 4 dollars (!)

Port Authority gave the go ahead on the new terminal they promised Delta 10 years ago. Found out that if you complain to Port Authority about the terminal more gets done since Delta doesn't own it.

If the taxi line is too long at your terminal hop on the air train to terminal 3. Small Delta terminal and never a taxi line.

Terminal 1 is so run down. It needs to be demolished and built from the ground up. Beware electric outlets are so scarce you need to box other people to get one.

When you arrive from a international flight expect a very long walk from the terminal to u.s. customs.

Take the airtransporter shuttle bus back to the city. At $15.75 its cheaper than a cab and drops you off at grand central or port authority!

You're in NY now; the moving walkways are to be walked on - not stood on. Keep moving people you're not in Kansas anymore. Avoid the gypsy cabs out front. 
