Worlds away from the OG Chicago locations, this branch is an oasis of indoor/outdoor seating apropos to the general Abott Kinney vibe.

It gets no better than this. From the playful architecture and design, to the sharply tailored and supremely knowledgeable baristas down to the very last drop of Black Cat - Intelli is a must do in LA
LOVE Intelligentsia Coffee. Always a fantastic choice when looking for a high quality coffee drink. Their cappuccinos are hard to beat.
They call a Cortado a Gibraltar here. Get it.

The chocolate in the mocha is rich and not too sweet. And the matcha latte is one of the best in town. But yes, this place is expensive AF.
You maybe able to find better roasted beans in LA, but they have the Best Barista for sure: their beans are roasted to the dark side, but always manage to pull out all the nuance in the beans.

Angela WebbSetembro 23, 2011Best coffee in LA. For NYers who know 9th street espresso level of coffee will be very pleased. Venice location is predictably cool. Staff dressed like Rosie the riveter and know how to make coffee.
I think this is the place where you'll find more Apple products and bearded hipsters than in any other places in Venice. Cool place if you are OK with it. Music too loud though.

Come charged. It seems all Intelligentsia shops go the extra mile to ensure there are no accessible power outlets. Great brew tho!- İbrahim DemirJunho 16, 2014They have perfect baristas and ambience. Try special filter coffee and chocolate cake. Go early before it gets crowded.
Grab a latte (LA's finest) for 5 bucks and a seat to get some work done (u may need to brin headphones as it does get noisy at times). Park in the back for free and use the back door entrance.
