The garden opened to the public in 1967 & is considered to be one of the most authentic Japanese gardens outside of Japan.
It is hard not to recommend everything on the menu. The tacos are killer and the burritos are large and very tasty.

Got the Spingola, Prosciutto, and Salsiccia pizzas. All three were incredible but specifically the Spingola. Potatoes were perfectly cooked. Salty without being an overload. Perfection.

On sunny days you can grab a spot on the beach or hike inland on an old logging road over 10 miles long. Boat launch, bonfires until 10 PM, boat rental just across the bridge.
This place is incredible. Knowing that parts of The Lost World (Jurassic Park II) were filmed here makes it even more awesome. Be prepared to climb over trees and walk through lots of water!
Make sure you spend a decent amount of time in the open air cart. Watch out for the tunnel!

This is the place for a cheap date. $8 per person for two 1st run movies. Also cheap snacks. Good times.
Always prepare for cold weather. It's July and 90 degrees in Seattle and we barely hit 60 at the campground during the day and colder at night. We regret not bringing our winter clothing.

About a mile's walk into the forest, you'll find this tall waterfall that roars most in the Spring.
Go outside and visit the park for free. Enjoy the rose gardens, turtle pond, picnic, toss a frisbee, or drive the 5 mi road (the 5 mi is open to foot traffic only on Sundays till 1pm)
