There's live music if you go on the weekend, but try to get a reservation, place fills up fast!- Hands down the most authentic German restaurant. Ranks #1 in all my favorite German across the U.S. Don't forget the butcher shop around the corner called Magnolia market. yum.
One of the best German restaurants you will ever have the chance to visit. Great food, great atmosphere and great times to be had.
Absolutely love the Holländer Schnitzel Art and the potato cakes and the Bee Sting cake and basically everything. Do yourself a favor and just eat here.
VP MillerOutubro 27, 2012They have little accordians for the kiddos, and make a mean Shirley Temple. Ease kids into German cuisine by asking for Leiberkase (mixed meats loaf, fried, delicious!) with potato pancakes... prima!

Some items could be added to the menu, such as Schweinebraten, and Rehbraten, wildschweinbraten, leberknödel- Try the Corned Beef And Cabbage With Red Potatoes And Dijon Egg Sauce - A 10 year tradition of turning whole steamship rounds into the most tender lean flavorful corn beef

Eisbein is a must order if you love pork, this dish just melts in your mouth & full of flavor.

Everything is good. But the gourmet potato pancakes are probably the best.
Best German band I have ever heard. Anyone who can play cow bells, the saw and a turkey baster (yea) has my respect!!!

In the name of all that is holy... The chocolate pie is simply orgasmic. If you pass this up then you are beyond mental.
The Rubinstein was good, but a bit small. Desserts are delicious!

After dinner, since you are close to Sanford Ave...stop by Ellens Wine Room for more Fine Beers and Wines
If you want a table in the weekend, better call a few weeks in advance.

Best thing on the menu is the Veal Zigeuner Schnitzel. It is soo yummy....- Try the Beer Cheese Soup - 6 cheeses. Mirepoix Krombacher pils. Chicken stock. On the menu today
