EdwulfJunho 2, 2015not a Vegas casino, nevertheless is safe around because police presence. The ATM in here have a lower fee for withdrawal (around $2 per withdraw) where in some malls is $4. good for foreign visitors
When walking in, make the first right and down the stairs to the poker room. You can play Texas Holdem' for hours and not lose any money. And hey, you might catch some good cards.
Love the atmosphere!! And the fact that it's in Greektown and the restaurants and of course stopping by Astoria as well for some desert!!

DanielleAgosto 4, 2013The tip about having to pay for your players card after 90 days of inactivity is untrue. You just can't park for free during big events or big games if your account goes inactive.
Love the roulette. Lots of machines for it with different minimums and bonuses- The parking is great - park here and take the People Mover anywhere downtown!
Get a massage from one of the massage girls that float around the table games and high limit area!
Be sure to leave Larry, the bartender at Asteria, a big tip!
The parking's good, but recently, they've been limiting access to parking to either the eighth or ninth level and below. They charge for some Downtown events and for Tigers, Lions and Wings games, too

Greektown Casino-Hotel has it all...gaming, entertainment, food, and the great district of Greektown to tout!
Since the renovations I no longer consider this place "The Old Timey Casino". The atmosphere is much more energetic.- Watch the parking charges here: $10 for most Tigers games/Comerica Park events, $20 Lions/Ford Field events/Joe Louis events, I've even seen $30 for some events.

Thursday $45 tourney, only $5 house fee. Lowest house rake on a tourney anywhere. They start at 11am, and 7 pm.
