Katie M. • Março 29, 2011The whole exhibit is amazing but be sure to check out the tar pit demo/replica in addition to admiring the elephants. Fascinating historical stuff!
San Diego Zoo • Maio 20, 2011We received our 1st koalas as a gift from Australia in 1925. These fuzzy marsupials are not bears, and not as cuddly as you think. They're actually independent, feisty, and often grumpy.

Luis S. • Julho 18, 2015Conhecer um porta aviões que virou museu!!! Aviões, jatos, fotos, vale a pena a visita!!!
San Diego Zoo • Maio 20, 2011The Zoo’s adult male giraffe, Silver, is more than 17 feet tall. With such a long neck, it’s surprising that giraffes have the same number of vertebrae that we do—each one is just much bigger!
Victor M. • Março 17, 2019We love it!!!
Katie M. • Março 29, 2011Fantastically designed exhibit with multiple places to watch the gorillas from. Such a lively bunch.
Miriam G. • Agosto 13, 2014The hippos both hang out together in the armpit of the underwater section of the enclosure. Great for a selfie with the beast!
Olympia B. • Abril 10, 2013The Arlo Guthrie concert was WONDERFUL. The venue was beautiful, cozy, perfect for a folk performer. Will definitely be back.
Mike B. • Outubro 1, 2014Great sight line. Friendly staff. 🐘
Miriam G. • Agosto 14, 2014The snakes are amazing and beautiful.
Chacho H. • Novembro 15, 2011Amazing jewelry, great art books (some say the best selection in San Diego), and a superb gift selection. Not a bad place to drop some cash.
Jokie T. • Janeiro 23, 2018Love it! Come in the morning or towards close to avoid crowds.
Cherie D. • Julho 20, 2010Bring a push cart, the art, hand-made clothing, blown-glass and woodwork was phenomenal. I highly recommend this center full of artisans.
San Diego Zoo • Maio 20, 2011Tigers each have their own unique stripe pattern, like our fingerprints. A tiger’s claws can be up to five inches long, and they use them to mark their territory with scratches on trees.
San Diego Zoo • Maio 22, 2011The Lost Forest is home to a wide variety of animals, including our bonobos. Bonobos were not identified by scientists until 1926. Before that, they were thought to be another type of common chimp.
Jase L. • Julho 3, 2016I absolutely loved this place. The front area had great food and tailgating games. The line dancing was a little crowded with non-dancers so was ok, and later transitioned to just standing room only.
