Simple food, well prepared is the winning way of this downtown fixture. E&C gets a bum rap as omelet joint, but has long served inventive eats that sometimes surprise. Coffee is bottomless and good.
A little gem in the heart of the Village. Tried the blue cheese salad and portobello sandwich, will come back for burgers and omelettes! 🍔

Go ahead & carb load best hangover cure ever!- Notice the coffee tastes different? Spring 2012 brought George Howell Costa Rica coffee to E&C. A citrusy, clean, medium body cup has replaced syrupy Sumatra. It's pricey at $3.75, but still endless.

The Apple Benedict is out of this world! Get a side of the Vermont maple syrup with it.
- Heirloom tomato BLT with fried egg is a memorable version of a sandwich classic. Basil and superior bacon make the difference.
Roasted portobello, mozzarella, arugula and basil sandwich is my fav. The Spanish Latte is the best!
