- Well functioning airport compared to some on the continent. Note for Aer Lingus passengers, you may depart from T1 despite check-in in T2 so leave 5-10 minutes extra for the walk!

- Food options are limited but this is a modern and beautiful airport.

- Oddly 5 am is peak time here. If you have an early flight leave plenty of time for security

- Free wifi and now an increasing number of comfortable lounging/charging/working stations in T1 due to the refurb. ✈️

- If you fly a lot an Aer lingus gold card gets you into fastrack security. Very very worth it. Or you can pay DAA €150 for annual pass.
- ConnorJunho 14, 2016Line for Checking your bag and security can be very long, leave yourself time. Connecting flights gates are a long walk from security.

- Local Dublin bus #16 outside of the airport is the cheapest way to get into the city - only €2.65 to O'Connell street
- The best airport I've ever seen! Free and unlimited wifi, good coffee shops and everything else you might need and there is also easy access to city center

- Terminal 1 has really come on in the last few years!
- Aer Lingus and most long haul carriers operate from T2, with US CBP pre-clearance available for USA-bound flights.
- Nice airport. Fast wifi. Terrible connection to the city. Only bus or taxi available.

- Avoid the aerlingus lounge the Dublin airport lounge is right beside it. Same price with much better food and drink selection!
- BérengerSetembro 8, 2016Airport sucks. You fight to sit down (but there's room to put two Porsches though), not a lot of outlets, wifi is terrible … only for you if you like shopping. Take an example on Amsterdam, DUB!
- Greg AvolaSetembro 26, 2013Going to the US? Be sure to get there extra early for 2 types of airport security (TSA and EU) plus pre-clearance.
- In Terminal 1 the DAA lounge which takes Airport Angel, Priority Pass etc is only up until 19:00 so alternatives for coffee are Butlers or Starbucks!
- They have self service passport gates, but unlike Heathrow you have to queue in the same line as people using the staffed booths so you save zero time.
- Great food at Diep Noodle bar just before you go up to security!
- prepay online for your long term parking. Way cheaper and you don't need any tickets etc. Just drive in and back out when done.
