I travel very hard to Rio and was in a lot of hotels here (and into other countries) for sure this is one of the best hotels in the world, with educated employees and impeccable rooms.

The hotel that all other hotels will be judged by. This powerhouse institution provides an incomparable service second to none. The word 'No' does not exist. The concierge is the best in the world.

Believe it or not, this hotel was chapter than the JW Marriott. This is a great hotel if you like grand old style hotels. I prefer modern.

Used to be the best place for feijoada on Saturdays. Not any more. No taste, black beans are watered and meats lack salt and spice. Overpriced with loud live entertainment. Became a place for gringos!
