There is a second-floor terrace for some serious people watching on St. Charles' Avenue. And they film Treme's Desaultel's Restaurant scenes across the avenue. Roof-top patio open until until 10 pm.- Across the street is the Tremé site of Desautiel's Restaurant. Across the brick patio of the Avenue is the preserved Ashley House, a registered historical site. Ghost hunters say on TV it is active.
Nice service! Garden district location. Right across from a streetcar stop. Visit the Ashley house. Be careful of nearby rough areas.
The Avenue plaza resort is the best in customer service and hospitality! I come here every year and always have good time
The gym facility is rather large for a hotel/timeshare and open 24/7 which makes getting a quick workout in very easy.

I own a timeshare here but this was my first time visiting it. Great staff, beautiful facility, and VERY convenient to the trolley!
great if you get a hotel room here (it's mostly timeshares), cause you get all the amenities and meet some of the nicestfront desk and valet staff you'll ever meet. pay extra to board your car here.- The staff is awesome, so helpful, and the free events this hotel is a true gem.

- The Thursday free "breakfast" was not as advertised. It was just 7-11 style sweets and little Debbie donuts. Not worth waiting around till 10am.

Place is fantastic. The service is unbeatable.- Wednesday is ice cream social but its on Thursday wine tasting
This is a timeshare resort. Our room is really nice, but they charge for maid service.
- It's a streetcar, not trolley. The stop is to the left as you leave the front door.
- Ice cream social. Free is me..just a happy place
- Bus/ streetcar stop just across the street/in front.
Michael ChuaNovembro 15, 2013If you go to this place, take pictures before you leave the room. They charged me $600 for supposedly destroying a TV in a physical altercation leaving blood on the sheets... ummmm.... NO!
