Cooper Smith: Awesome little Williamsburg bodega of local products. The #4 turkey sandwich, with peppadews, Manchego, arugula, and a spicy Harissa mayo is one of the best sandwiches in the hood.

Amber: THE ALMOND CROISSANT. AND BABKA.

Amber: HUGE and delicious, the sandwiches here are great. Personally a fan of their chicken cutlet with fresh mozz and pesto.

Noah Weiss: New Italian small plates spot from the Aria team, perfect for a date with the same great value and even more cozy than the original. Burrata, lamb, all the pastas including bucatini, creme brûlée.

Amber: Everything. But especially the chicken parm sandwich.

Amber: Very decent Thai food for very decent prices. And cute enough to use as a date spot but casual enough to stop in for a rushed lunch special. All around solid.

Serious Eats: Cheap hole in the wall diner in the heart of midtown, an unlikely but delicious source for Cubanos and other sandwiches.

Untapped Cities: Wait! Don't leave! There's a long line for a reason. Wah Fung's $3.00 roast pork over rice is one of the best deals in the city, if not America. And it's every bit as delicious as you hope it'll be. Leia mais.

Amber: The fried chicken sandwich is great. Add the pimento cheese. Or if you are really a pro, get two of the mini fried chicken biscuits with pimento cheese and hot honey.

Dan Money: Carrots and charred leeks are both excellent in the vegetables section. And the cacio pepe is indeed superb. Get there around 6 to get your name on list and then get seated around 7:30. Great negronis
