All of the pastas are amazing, but they probably have a special that’s extra amazing, like paccheri with pork shoulderragù. Hit the wine bar downstairs for a less crowded, more intimate experience.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in all five boroughs. We’ve waxed poetic before, but forgot to mention the White Salad and the Faro Salad, both hidden gems.
Great food and atmosphere, and relatively reasonable. Loved the malfatti and carpaccio. Didn't like the rabbit (it was super pungent/gamey) but maybe it's just not our thing.
Ragu and Spaghetti Vongole were incredible. Appreciated the small details — bread served warm, food was on time, portions were just right, it was warm and cozy inside, and the service was great ☺️
This husband and wife team - Emiliano Coppa and Chef Anna Klinger - knocks it out of the park with their little rusticItalian spot. We love the Carpaccio, Corn Tortelli, & the Braised Rabbit.
I am not someone who goes to restaurants 2x (it's nyc after all) but al di la is the best version of home.food is spot on, unfussy, perfectly seasoned, delicious. don't miss out. reco duck ragupasta!
New al di là Cafe by al di là Trattoria! Al di là is now serving La Colombe coffee at their bar (separate entrance on Carroll Street). Great coffee and pastries and it's such a lovely space!
Known as one of the best italian spots in the city, serves up dinner and weekend brunch. Can sometimes have a wait, or sometimes you get lucky and walk right in to delicious fresh pasta heaven.
Food is delicious and the interior makes this space cozy and gives unique atmosphere. Try daily special with a bottle of Italian wine 😍 pearcake made the day.
The pastas live up to the hype; we tried the daily meat ragu, a vegetable cheesse tortellini, and the clamspaghetti, all delicious and perfectly cooked. The two homemade pasta were the best.
"Show up early or expect to wait in line. One of the best spots in the country for Italian food. Braised rabbit with creamy polenta and black olives, saltimbocca alla Romana, or tagliatelle al ragu." Leia mais
This is some of the very best rusticItalian food in all of New York, with a seriously charming environment to match. Pay attention to the specials and add the Tagliatelle al Ragu and a risotto.
For starter, Carpaccio was delicious (with some ground black pepper). Had the spaghetti neri alla chitarra as a main - very very tasty!! Wish I had more time to try more, it all looked fantastic!
Don't let the nightmarish black tangle of the black ink squidspaghetti turn you off—the noodles are dyed in the stuff of sea gods and tossed in chewy octopusconfit, basil and fiery hot chili pepper. Leia mais
Came here for my bday w/ my Italian Mom. Perfectly quiet and intimate. We shared an oozy, creamy risotto "of the day" and 2 salads. The risotto was, as we Italians say, bellisima!
Loved the steak and both side dishes- the mushrooms and the escarole. It is a tiny space that got very crowded and VERY loud super quickly. Only serve wine and 2 types of bottled beer.
Over dinner in the Old World dining room, longtime customers have been known to get emotional about the beet-and-ricotta ravioli, and heated arguments about the best dishes. Leia mais
Get here early to avoid a long wait for a table, no reservations! Start with the Trippa Alla Toscana, move on to the Tortelli Di Zucca Burro E Salvia, then the Braised Rabbit and finish with gelato.
they have a #bar behind the main restaurant. If you need to wait for your a table you can have a glass of wine in the bar and they will let you know when your table is ready.
Had the malfatti and tagliatelle al ragu. Butter sauce of the malfatti is super tasty and great flavours for the ragu. Going to try the rabbit next time and risotto!
Great pastas and ravioli dishes. Get the beet ravioli if available. The rabbit or chicken are my favorite main courses and their desserts are always great
funghie polenta may be my favorite brunch dish, ever. Make sure to get it with a poached egg. Also reco the carbonara b/c well, guanciale + spaghetti= heaven on earth
If you want to try it without the wait show up for the brunch between 11 and 12, there should be a table for you. Carbonara was good, cauliflowerragu was great, and the fungi e polenta even better
Great! Friendly service, intimate setting. handmade tasty food. Went with my fiance and sister, we shared the Kale salad, smashed beets, black spaghetti with lemon and crab, & special A+
You can’t go wrong with the Casunziel, a dish filled with silky ravioli and sweet red beets bathed in buttery goodness. The simple concoction still captures the essence of a perfect Italian meal.
The rose from Tuscany (by the glass) was fantastic. Had the pasta with ragu sauce, and it was great. Looks like a fairytale storybook inside. I'm excited I found this!
#6 - IWalked NYC's Top 10 Italian Restaurants. Our top Brooklyn pick! Does not accept reservations but it is worth the wait. Kill your time at the wine bar & be sure to sample the beet ravioli.<LINK> Leia mais
Everything was tasty but much more expensive than the menu listed here. Dinner was all around $25 per plate. So I was not happy about that. However, the service was great, the food was delicious.
You can’t make reservations here but once you DO get in, the food is pretty good. They have some really unique items on the menu (Braised Rabbit). Be daring. Try something different!
