Bathrooms were also very clean (at least early on).- The best club in town for live music, bar none. Coffee bar upstairs if you need a pick-me-up, along with seating. Love this place.

Continues to be the standard bearer for mid-size venues on the East Coast.- I love the place everything about it been going there since it was at it's older location and to this day kept going they've never disappointed

Best spot ever. Reasonable beer prices, and right next to the Civil War Memorial metro. There's a little Ethiopian Restaurant across the street with great food and beer specials. Highly recommend.- Arrive early to get the best spots (front and center, obviously!)

travel42Agosto 3, 2011This is an excellent live music venue. Every seat is a good seat! There's also a small bar in the basement (where it's rumored that some performers hang out after their shows!).
Independent local venue brings in top acts. Decent views all around, but best views go fast. Don't worry about food if you're in a rush: they have great food at good prices. This is why I moved to DC.

I wish it was included in the cost of the ticket...- Try to get a spot leaning on/standing in front of the balcony facing the stage. Perfect view and sound.
If you want quick drinks, head to the downstairs bar. It's way quieter, and the service is great!
I love going to concerts here! Good beer selections. All the good artists. Convenient location.

best place for music in the city. since you're so close to american ice company, stetsons and nellie's, be sure to pop into one for pre-gaming bevs.
Getting tickets from the box office directly is way cheaper - no fees!
Get here early to get one of the very limited cupcakes they have each night! You will NEVER regret it!

Jen SFevereiro 7, 2019Screw sold out nights unless you want to pay $50 for a listening party and not be able to even reach the bar. Sight lines? What sight lines? On a normal night, fine.
My favorite music venue in DC. I usually arrive an hour after the doors open. That's often just about the time the opening act hits the stage.

NO PHOTO/NO VIDEO policy sure doesn't look strict to me...... 9:30 is lax on hacks but still hassles pros. As camera tech gets higher on smart phones the rules will inevitably have to change....
